We were delighted to attend ScotPlant 2026 to announce the launch of Power Partners JV, a new collaboration between GDL and David Smith Contractors, established to deliver energy infrastructure projects.

The joint venture brings together the expertise, experience and capabilities of both businesses, with a shared ambition to support the delivery of essential energy infrastructure projects and contribute to the UK’s Pathway to 2030 and Beyond.

ScotPlant provided the perfect opportunity to share this exciting milestone with the industry, connect with familiar faces and meet new people from across the sector.

A huge thank you to the ScotPlant organisers for putting on such a fantastic event and creating a valuable opportunity for the industry to come together, exchange knowledge and build relationships.

We’d also like to extend a big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, learn more about Power Partners JV and show their support. It was great to speak with so many people and share our plans for this new collaboration.

This is an exciting new chapter for GDL and David Smith Contractors, and we look forward to what’s ahead for Power Partners JV.
